Wandering of thought

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matt.6:21

Whenever you are praying and your heart or thought is not in what you are praying or seems not being in God’s presence; your prayer is not ascending up and can be pretty sure, your prayers cannot be answered.

Learn to avoid wandering of thought, unnecessary distraction, and concentration, which is the reason for eyes closing in prayers.

Before knowing it, you have forgotten the prayer points and begun praying something different.

Some make their prayers a bit audible to hear for themselves and make adjustments even when their mouths is saying another thing.

It is a common and serious happening to praying Christians. https://earlyfaithrecon.org/blog
